How the Integrated Insights Control Booth Works

1. Sketching the Insights Infrastructure
To create a cohesive intelligence picture, we first establish the scope of your Control Booth. What new research will we be undertaking? What existing data sources will we want piped in? What real-time reporting will be required? Will this be a longitudinal control booth, or a one-off?

2. Design
Once the blueprint is in place, we design the Control Booth in earnest. This encompasses both the study design of any original research being undertaken, as well as the building of the insights platform and its features, which will be undertaken concurrently.

3. Reconcile
Historic data — i.e. relevant insights to be added to the booth separate from the new study — are consolidated and reconciled ready for import and/or connection to the Control Booth. In many cases, data will need to be processed, scrubbed and formatted prior to inclusion.

4. Execution
The new study is completed and the insights are populated and analysed on the Control Booth. By this point, all complementary historic data is also present and we can now make final adjustments to the booth in readiness for completion and handover.

5. Handover
When the Control Booth is finalised, it is “handed over” to the client after a comprehensive briefing and training session. Blackbox remains as a full-time partner for clients who choose the full-service model, but even for those who prefer to self-manage, we will remain on standby to help.
